That's a good way to look at it. From the earnings/redemptions perspective I'm FFP agnostic. I don't spend nearly the amount of avios I should! I do prioritise status retention however.
Forgot to mention I'm now leaning more towards prioritising *A retention through OZ and *A flying, though overall I'm alliance agnostic (just want to avoid BAEC specifically).
