If we nominate someone to MVP now, it would basically last two days until the end of the current program year, right? (And that's assuming it takes effect right away, which it apparently doesn't.)

Or, I wonder if we nominate someone now and it takes effect in two weeks, it will be valid until the end of 2025, simply due to the regular processing turnaround time. But, perhaps it would count as a 2024 nomination due to being initiated in 2024?
