Thanks everyone for contributing, interesting points all round. For me GCH for ~10 years and just passed halfway to GFL.

I'll add my name to those who didn't ask for these changes, that said it always annoyed me the low tier points on economy fares which I often take for work (£40 per tier points wasn't great). Fairly sure I'll end up dropping from GCH but being based in the USA the silver card will be pretty similar benefits.
