Yes, I am one of those NYers "commuting" to BWI, largely thanks to the low fare ($69 one way to LAX on UA) and my bad experience with UA at EWR.
I was lucky and rode mostly empty shuttle buses to the airport, but one of them got timed with a MARC train arrival, and the bus was full (mid December holiday travel).
thr MARC train runs 7 days a week. More st rush hour times than non rush houtpr from DC to Perry point, md called thr Penn line. Amtrak also runs this track but it skips most stations. I think it stops at nee Carrollton and BWI betweenbDCcsnd Baltimore.
Baltimore has a light rail line thst goes to the airport. The light rail station is a few blocks from Baltimore Amtrak station
The rail station is on the map near concourse E
