Whilst the principle of revenue-based status seems to me to have been inevitable, I am staggered by the thresholds. People who have never gone on a TP run are not going to notice a change, but those who have grown accustomed to earning Silver each year with a long haul or two in J and a few CE trips are going to really notice the change.

Perhaps there is a part 2 of the plan, which sees the arrival of a bountiful new supply of TPs as yet unannounced. The obvious answer was credit card spend, but that is capped at a meagre amount. So I am left perplexed. No one will care about the TP runners, but the squeals of anguish of the Leisure Silvers I suspect will be amplified.
This thread has been mostly dominated by UK-based members. I'm really curious what US-based members will do from April 1, 2025. Should we all apply for the BA Chase card? If BA no longer makes sense, which other OW makes sense and is "easiest" to qualify for OWE.
