I'm the type of Silver that BA probably won't miss. The vast majority of my Avios is earned through BAPP, the shopping portal etc and I use it to book most of my travel (about ten London-Belfast flights and three or four European or long haul flights a year - all in ET/WT or WTP unless I'm using a voucher) because the flexibility is hard to beat.
I reached Bronze 'naturally' a few times and incorporated a TP run into a holiday last May to top it up to Silver, but I won't qualify for Bronze under the new regime unless I start doing mostly cash bookings and I've no intention of doing that. I trust BA's annual report for 25/26 will note the savings made by taking away my monthly two fishcakes and can of beer in the lounge.
