The revenue loss for BA on this change will be huge. For me, the changes remove the ONLY incentive for me to fly BA. That is, GGL and the ensuing Avios and CCR. I don't fly BA for punctuality, cabin comfort, or (sometimes) on board service - because I get none of those on a consistent basis from BA.

Qatar or Emirates for me next year.
Have you? I am in the same boat. BA have said they will convert TPs on a similar basis but I can see no guarantee that will be enough to renew GGL.
