Same boat as many others here.

Wife and myself have both been Goldies for 25+ years from '97 to '23 from 2-3 trips yearly in mostly F, and some J. We dropped to Silver this year, but were planning to get back up to Gold and earn the last 4900 tier points we both need to reach GFL in 2025/26. That will not happen now. Even if we could hammer out 2500 TP in the next 3 months, we'd still be a cool £40k spend short each. That is just madness.

We've been going out of our way to travel BA F/J for the past 25+ years. This will be the end of that.

Over time we'll spend the nearly 1m Avios we each have at the moment, but in the future we will likely not be paying customers of BA.
