The BAEC has been the most successful program going for encouraging me to send my business Oneworlds way instead of competitors. Not only that, but encouraging me to give them extra business when I didn’t even need to.

Now that will evaporate on the spot and is a big gap for someone else to take that away from BA.

I see how this is worth it for them personally, who cares about status when spending the levels they are talking about? There is a lot of DYKWIA who will be particularly ****ed about losing their “status”.

On the surface it’s sad/annoying. In reality it will end up being a healthy life benefit not caring about this stuff any more, spending and flying less.
