Pretty efficient service with excellent crew despite the ungodly 4am Departure from DOH due to mechanical delays. First time in a while I was proactively offered turndown service too..Engine issues meant they had to reset the system several times so we were delayed on the ground in DOH by over an hour. Crew served arabic coffee and dates in the mean time though while waiting.


Menu


After takeoff - Fruit plate from the Breakfast menu. Due to delays I wanted something quick before bed.



Before landing “brunch” decided to switch things up as not keen on any of the breakfast options so I selected 3 items from the late night option for my pre-landing meal. Roasted artichoke salad with coriander mint dressing to start with - this was nice and light, just perfect for what I was looking for.



Brunch - continued with the Japanese beef hamburg from the late night menu. This was okay-ish not bad at all but nothing too special either, more comfort food for me.



Brunch - to finish off before landing, I ordered the sour cherry clafoutis from the late night menu as well. This was served warm with a side of vanilla bean ice cream - best item from the menu so far.
