The BA FAQ now seems to have deleted references to GGL and GGLfL. GGLfL was listed as requiring 1,500,000 'new' TPs, but now there's no mention of it.

They will carry over your lifetime points proportionally though:
Your proportional progress towards the next Lifetime threshold will be carried over. For instance, if you’ve collected 50% of the Lifetime Tier Points required for Gold for Life, your new balance will equal 50% of the new threshold.
