The bump was not at the end of the runway, it was at the beginning, correct? They were coming in the wrong direction (which again in conjunction with the gear not being lowered for the 2nd landing attempt plus no flap lends credence to the idea that they had cut the wrong engine and were dropping relatively fast)?
