Happened to me once too but couldn’t really argue since it’s technically the “rule”, just hardly enforced. Just a reminder for me (and others traveling with a connection) to have my essentials and a change of clothing in a smaller carry on/easily repacked into a spare smaller bag in case of a missed connection / delay which seems to be happening more frequently than I would like (not just on QR, just in general).
