Yup. That's pretty much me done, I think. A real shame, because it has been something I've enjoyed these past few years. Don't have anything booked beyond March, so I'll enjoy my last year of gold and that's that.

I think £7k p/a would be outside what I'd be comfortable spending, never mind £20k. It's only ever been my own money; never taken a business flight in my life. Got to think of ways to use my two AMEX CVs before I ditch the PP card, which is clearly no longer worth it. And will need to think about other airlines/an alliance switch, I suspect.

I'm not surprised in some ways, but I am also rather shocked at just how extreme the new thresholds are.
