Certainly makes it easier searching for deals going forward, no need to pay extra for OneWorld.
Doubt they have any intentions ever in rolling back this decision. It's the way forward for them to have smaller higher status pax and also let's face it....they really want to be a low cost airline also with their competitors as over the past few years they have moved progressively towards that market. They will probably make more money and now a lot will have to pay for seats and lounge access if flying BA. Forget them ..fly with the alternatives in the premium cabins and enjoy different experiences. If you fly BA for domestic I can understand it's a big loss but hopefully you can see some alternative routes. BA are hardly worth the current spend financially never mind the new spend levels. I guess also I'll.be giving up the premium Amex card as well after the next year or so.
