BAEC = British Airways Extortionate Club?

From my initial reading of the information above, achieving 20,000 TPs as a person who spends his own money in order to retain Gold (which I hope BA will honour until April 2026), rather than those who travel on company-funded flights, will become a challenge that is not worth it unless what is offered as a GCH is improved. Its been good while it has lasted.
