Those are very bad changes, as the BAEC programme was what made me fly BA and one world (I certainly don't fly BA for their onboard product, the terrible pre- or post- flight customer service, the countless bugs and crashes on their website or the disastrous LHR experience).
Maybe I missed it, but how will the one world partner earnings be calculated ? Like QR, AY or JL flights for example? The entire communication on this is very poor.
Very curious to see how the lifetime status will look like also.
I think I will try to requalify as AF Ultimate instead of trying BAEC Gold again. Too bad, it had been a fun journey for me being gold since the BMI merger...
