A friend was on BA 1422 to Belfast City last night (Sunday) but got the dreaded message that it was cancelled whilst at the airport and that she had been moved to the 07.00 this morning, Monday. She was checked in etc but was HBO. According to the BA app the plane departed on schedule. Am assuming it was an aircraft change and too many passengers so it was an offload. We simply claim for denied boarding and hotel overnight expenses etc? Claiming for a cancellation will simply prove too much for the BA IT?
