Amex Trip Delay insurance check or statement credit?
I purchased a KLM intra-Europe round-trip ticket using my Amex Platinum card at KLM.com. Due to a weather-related missed connection, I had to stay overnight in AMS, and KLM provided hotel.
I’d like to use the Trip Delay Insurance to claim reimbursement for up to $500 for essential items like clothing and toiletries. However, I’m currently in Europe and cannot receive a U.S. check. Could the reimbursement be issued as a statement credit or via e-check instead?
