What’s BA’s timeline for replacing the old 777s?
Apologies if this has been discussed somewhere else, but does anyone know what BAs current timeline looks like for sending some of their older 777 frames off to the desert?
I’d been flying a mix of 380s, 787s and 777s until this year when most of my travel was 777s on east coast US and back, and had the (dis)pleasure of flying on some really old birds, one as old as 28 if I recall correctly.
I’ve noticed a difference between 7 hours on one of those versus a more modern aircraft, and the 777 I was on most recently constantly rattled the whole way through a smooth flight - perhaps an airliner equivalent of creaking old bones.
