Float

is it better to give up the float and gain by not paying an annual fee, or is it better to pay the annual fee of $75 and get the float?
You would need to spend at least $6,250 per month on the card to make the float worthwhile if you get 2% on the money and are in the 40% combined marginal tax rate. And if you ask for two free cards (one for your spouse) the savings are even greater.
