What "lack of rollover"? Delta has never applied rollover to MQDs since their inception in 2014. Not to sound stuck up, but the only people talking about (hoping/wishing for) MQDs to rollover are casual and/or new flyers. Anyone who has been a regular Medallion status holder for any length of time knew, or should have known, better.
So, no: I don't think a "lack of rollover" had much impact, at all, on anyone's decision-making or behavior regarding booked flights.
