Looks like they are now registered to "Hua An Aviation Parts." If this business is indeed as the name suggests, I wonder about the economics of buying the aircraft, making sure it is airworthy again to fly to the PRC, all presumably just to scrap it for parts. Does taking a plane apart require a special facility not otherwise available in Thailand?
Unless perhaps there are certain A340 operators who are finding it difficult to procure parts from Airbus due to sanctions and are willing to pay whatever price Hua An is charging...
