Next time you are 48 out of 64 for 0 upgrade seats, or trying to traverse the sea of humanity in any of the ATL concourses, or just trying to get a reasonable price for a routine flight, you might want to ask yourself how incentivized Delta might be to give up anything of their current operating model.
I’m usually 1 of 64 for 0 with a gate cleared F when a confirmed F passenger misconnects or is a no show. Delta has a tight market hold in the southeast as the AA CLT hub is even worse regarding crowds/narrow concourses than ATL. UA south east hub is IAD (really mid Atlantic) which is very outdated compared to ATL. I agree 💯 why change when you’re leading your peers profit wise.
