Question: How are folks calculating annual BIS apart from the long hand method of going through your MP account record?
On 31 December every year I take a screenshot of the UA app showing my lifetime miles.
Then it is simple to subtract that number from my current lifetime miles on the app to get my current annual bottom-in-seat (BIS) miles.
Note that because of the 500-mile minimum credit per segment for MileagePlus Premier members, this overstates the actual BIS mileage, but is what UA uses. So that's good enough for me.
