As I said, this is a first for me. This was at about 7pm. I don't drink alcoholic drinks and don't like tea/coffee - I always go for soft drinks.

I spoke with the Loyalty Supervisor at his desk (never seen those on site before, but he did email the daily before asking my expected check-in time) and he said no to complimentary drinks in the Executive Lounge set-up in the ground floor cafe. He asked if I had the drink voucher as if that was the only usual complimentary offering for Platinum status. I told him it's different in KL city Pullman and Novotel (plus other cities) but he just told me about Movenpick being Swiss and a chocolate/wine (but no wine here) hour. After a day of travelling I just wanted a juice and then sleep, but today I'll forgo the lounge set-up.

I'm not going to ask about it again today as although the staff are pleasant they are not really 'on the ball', eg I have a pre-booked/email confirmed/checked at check-in to be in their computer for an evening airport shuttle bus so of course I get a room call in the morning 12 hours early checking up on me for the bus!
