Train questions...please and thks.

Assuming I can arrive PVG and depart PEK, I'd like to try the high speed train between the two.

It appears that 1st class is a good intermediate option. Business class is twice the price, but not a great increment in amenities. Correct?

The trip would be somewhere 10/11/12 February. How far in advance for a non-national to book? Trip.com?

And finally, I assume that I'll be staying in a tourist-friendly area of Shanghai. Upon arrival in Beijing, my intent would be to spend 24 hours in a tourist-friendly area (maybe stay at the Marriott NE again).

Any thoughts in the actual departure and arrival stations?
