Checked-in for the stay and definitely see a few changes. Lounge coffee machine is still broken, so they're allowing you to pick-up a coffee from the "The Market" for free. I asked the FD if we needed to swing by to show them the coffee/confirm it's free and they said it wasn't needed. Sitting here with two cappuccinos and no problems. Still, not the same. Great to have Elevator #3 back up and running, as others have reported. I do like the redesign of the gym cardio section. The treadmills have returned to the old position of facing the first set of mirrors when you enter. Meanwhile, there are two new elliptical machines and a stair-stepper that now face the mirrors on the other side of the same room. So, a lot more space. TV in my room is brand new (sure seems that way) which featured a welcome salutation and a reference to my Diamond membership. Don't recall that from my last trip in June. Afternoon tea does seem like an afterthought - few biscuits and pretzels - alongside a kettle to make your own tea (with the machine down). Possibly more of a reflection of the slow/uneven demand this time of year, as we all know. Will be interesting to see what happens at Happy Hour (6-8 p.m. for just a few more days). OXBO breakfast was great, as usual. I did notice quite a few new staff members. Hopefully all the friendly faces from the past are just taking some well-deserved R&R. Finally, early check-in (8 a.m.) was nicely allowed, as always. I never want to forget how great it is that they're always flexible in this regard.
