On a 1 night stay at Movenpick KLIA Malaysia. Was told at check-in the Executive Lounge is undergoing maintenance. In the ground floor cafe the far end is marked off as Executive Lounge guests only. But there are no drinks in there. Asked the waiter what to do about getting a soft drink and was told they are not complimentary and must be paid for - but surely if the lounge was open that would not be the case. So redeemed my drink voucher. He went off and asked the Loyalty Supervisor and then returned and told me something about ALL PLUS Asia (which I don't have) allowing complimentary drinks and food. There is perhaps the smallest buffet set up to eat!

Just stayed at the KL Pullman and last year at the KL City Novotel and their lounges had complimentary food and drinks.

Does Movenpick do things differently? Was intending to relax in the lounge and work most of tomorrow before my late night flight - but not if I have to pay for drinks!
