Apologies if this has been answered upthread. I'll end my e-upgrade valid period on January 16 with at least 15 unused e-upgrade credits. It seems that I could either designate someone to receive these credits, or bestow them on another traveler I meet at the airport, if that traveler is on the same flight. But what priority would they have on the waitlist...would it be the priority of their own status level, if any, or of my level as an SE? How long before the flight must the gift be bestowed? In my experience e-upgrades for intercontinental flights never clear before the gate, while North American upgrades sometimes clear 14 days ahead.
