Very surprised this week as a BA Gold to get recognition on booked economy flights on QR: MAD-DOH-GCK.
On the MAD-DOH leg I not only was offered a welcome drink but must have also had three or four additional enquiries during the flight asking me by name if everything was ok.
And on the DOH-CGK leg was upgraded to Business.
Apart from being able to snag extra-legroom seats at the time of booking, I wasn’t really expecting my BA status to be recognised by QR.
