Mandarin Oriental Group did view IC AMS as an interesting object to acquire, yet has been outmanouvered by 2 contenders that woo Katara Hospitality.

Where does this leave IC AMS and its own renovations?
Katara Hospitality + management are playing strip poker with a royal flush deck of cards.
KH owns Regent Carlton Cannes so knows IHG could be a fit after a rebrand.
Yet 2 new contenders have arisen to woo IC AMS to switch brand / group.
Especially after Amsterdam municipality has launched an official formal "tourist discouragement" policy
