Hyperbolic much? The core issues right now are that HA has always had very weak elite benefits and AS is moving fast on integration. The former will get fixed and the latter is more good than bad. I have some frustrations too, but would rate AS’s progress to date more like a B+ than D-.
If history is any indicator I expect the phrase “integration”:to be used regularly AND the actual integration to take years if not a decade. Hyperbole you may question…….. ask EVERY Virgin America individual who have been waiting for our prior EQM credit to be “integrated”. But I could be wrong that the promise for integration will still take place.
Lucky I no longer view the Hawaiian islands as a first choice beach destination and thus little impact on my travels as a stand alone. But will hopefully be able to leverage this merger as a means to get to Asia for future travel plans.
