In addition, if they ar4e doing paper validations beware of any little piece of paper they give you on the Paraguayan side (and please do NOT lose it). If you have to re-enter Argentina on land through the same border point, you may (things are variable and enforcement depends from shift to shift) be asked for this and it will be a serious headache situation if you dont have it on you.
