There might as well not be any elite/F baggage line at all in Sea-Tac right now. My experience has been that the genpop line with kiosks actually ends up being faster in many cases.
I'm willing to give them some grace while the construction is underway, but I really hope that they get a proper solution in place when the new design is fully opened...
Anyway, I'm assuming the cutoff is based on when the tag prints, and not when it's handed off to the agent, right? So as long as you scan your boarding pass and get the machine to print the tag at T-51, you could hand it off even at T-40 without further issues if the queue is backed up?
