In my view, AR$ 40,000 is a very good price for the service. I will second the stamp in passport thing when you cross the border (if they havent implemented electronic stamps). In addition, if they ar4e doing paper validations beware of any little piece of paper they give you on the Paraguayan side (and please do NOT lose it). If you have to re-enter Argentina on land through the same border point, you may (things are variable and enforcement depends from shift to shift) be asked for this and it will be a serious headache situation if you dont have it on you.
