I wonder what happens on longer Y+ routes. SCL-GYE must probably be the longest direct one that I could think of from a Chilean perspective and back in late April this year, it still had a proper meal.

I remember that shorter international sectors like SCL-BUE or GRU-BUE got a salad with chicken, salmon or shrimps back in the days which I found adequate and a healthier choice than what you receive today.
It is a shame to see this product deteriorating, because I really appreciated it in the past. Given that there is virtually no competition on most sectors (just low cost carriers and the likes of AR), I can somehow reenact why LA makes little to no effort to make their Y+ cabin overly attractive, but as a paying customer you feel pretty much underwhelmed and fooled.

For international flights, however, the reasons to select Y+ over regular Y become less and less. It basically is the better leg room and the free seat next to you for me.
Sorry to hear this - I was rather surprised on my last SCL/BUE - at least that one is a relatively short hop. My last longer Y+ was March this year (LIM/SCL) and had a full proper meal service.
The other upside for Y+ int'l is that if you don't have status, you get a nice lounge. And now, I know I better have a more substantial meal in the lounge next week!
