Looking for some transit advice as it has been 7 years since flying through DEL and sure things have changed. I have an AA business class flight landing in DEL at 21:35 and a separate ticket on Sri Lanka Airlines to Colombo at 05:10. I have an eVisa and assume I will need to clear immigration and re-check in for my Sri Lanka flight. Given the short window of ~8.5 hours does it make sense to grab a hotel in Aerocity or the HIX in T3 international? Really unsure how busy it is these days between 22:00-03:00 in DEL from a international departures standpoint and getting through passport control for international gates. With this time frame does it make sense to get a hotel or just re-check in on Sri Lanka and find a lounge?
