Semi-reposting this to the correct forum here instead of the JAL thread:

Looking to book 2J or 1F/1J JAL via CX for JFK-HND/NRT. Have moved over 225k points into Asia Miles. Had a few points I wanted to confirm:

1.JAL flights released to CX originating in Japan release 360 days out at 00:00 JST.
2. JAL flights released to CX originating in other time zones will always release 360 days out at 00:00 local time (e.g. 12:00am EST for the US East Coast).

Point 2 is the most confusing one so far as I've tried checking at various EST times on the dot (12am / 1am / 10am) and have yet to see any availability at 360 days calendar open next year.

Does anyone have experience booking this, and if so, can you help confirm which of my times above are correct? Or has JL just not been providing CX with any award space recently? I feel like I'm going crazy here.
