I realize that this might be a bit off-topic since it does not reference a targeted offer, and NLL by negation only.... but the current discussion about rules makes me want to add this DP:
With year's end, I got to thinking wistfully about how much fun a triple-dip can be on a new Platinum card, and somehow while chasing links for Business Plat offers I got drawn (mentally, not electronically; i.e., I further distracted myself -- I did not get funneled via a link) to the Amex Platinum Resy offer, which I think only has a 100K bonus, but does have 15 points per dollar for six months on restaurants worldwide, and only requires $8,000 spend. My reading was that it does have the standard lifetime language, but maybe others want to read for themselves, because the punchline here (finally!) is that in spite of my having closed my first Amex Platinum (plain, not Business) only 2-3 years ago, I was approved. I.e., no pop-ups. True, I have not yet hit the $8K or received the bonus -- I have rationalized that even in the odd case where I were to be denied the bonus, the triple dip would still make this useful, thus it was (has been) worth the plunge.
UPDATE: Recently hit required spend and 100K bonus posted immediately.

Reason: Updated to show that I received bonus.
