A lot of people would be more than happy to pay £350 for an upgrade to UC even on a night flight just for the lay flat bed and extra baggage allowance.

I don't see the bid system coming in with a lower figure. Does the VS app / website offer it as an option? if so no harm in checking what they are currently asking for in terms of bids.
