I guess he will respond that his job is to "run the program" (as he said before when somebody who inquired on an issue that they were looking into), not tell us in advance about devaluations. To be complete, I would add "run the program in a profitable way". But honestly, my point is mostly that our expectations from FFP should be somehow grounded to the brutal reality of what they are. Think about it next time you complain that you were not greeted personally by the purser.
