Back in March, I received an email from United announcing a cardmember benefit for holders of the Chase United Quest credit card. Under the terms of the benefit, which did not require any registration, I would receive a 10,000 mile award flight credit for every $12,500 spent on the credit card from March 1 through August 31. During that period, I charged over $50,000 on the card, and thus earned four credits of 10,000 miles each, and each one would then post to my account after taking an award flight. Each notification of the credits that I had earned stated that I had one year in which to book an award flight in order to get each of the 10,000 mile bonuses.
So I took my first award flight back in May, and a 10,000 mile bonus posted almost immediately after the flight. I then took a second award flight last month, but although more than 4 weeks have passed, I have yet to receive the 10,000 miles bonus that I was promised. When I contacted the Mileage Plus Service Center, it seemed that they didn't understand the promotion, and told me that my November flight "was an award ticket purchased with miles and not a part of the promotion." I have another award flight coming up in January, and am concerned that, despite having earned FOUR bonuses, this may be an ongoing problem.
I'm posting here on the forum to find out if anyone else who has a Quest card has had a problem getting the bonus miles that they earned. If you have had success in getting the bonuses, I'd welcome any suggestions you may have for getting this resolved.
