The item already shows up in my queue. There is a difference between the UNUSED TICKET header and the ECREDIT header. I have some items that show up as unused ticket and others that show up as ECREDIT.
When using the companion certificate you are unable to select anything that is marked as an UNUSED TICKET. You can only select the items that are marked as ECREDIT.
Hence my dilemma
Issue is the paid passenger must match the name on unused eticket. If it does not let you select, then the paid passenger is not you. The paid passenger is the other person. Call in is the easiest way to ensure you are made the paid passenger. (And thus can apply the unused eticket) The only other reason that might not be able to use if there is some type of fare rule issue from the previously bought ticket. (Rare)
