Delta flyers access to Virgin Clubhouse

Hey all,

I'm confused by the wording on the Virgin website about access rules. In one part it seems I would have access, in another, under connections, it seems I don't.

My partner and I are traveling XXX-JFK-CDG with JFK-CDG being in Premium Select on a Delta operated flight (all ticketed through Delta). I'm Diamond and my partner is Silver. Can we access the Clubhouse in JFK during our connection?

Virgin Clubhouse access rules state in one place "SkyTeam Elite Plus members travelling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta + a guest traveling on an international flight operated by a SkyTeam carrier" are allowed access, but then under transiting/connecting, says you must be in Delta One/Upper Class.
