This is normal, and precisely the benefit of Euro-J : the business cabine can be as large or small as demand for it becomes.

The result is that the first row of Y will also vary frequently due to operational reasons.

Technically, all non-exit rows are the same in terms of pitch and width, so being moved from say, 4C to 6C has no impact on anything confort-wise.
