Wednesday 25 December 2024 - Christmas Day; and start of Hanukkah (from sunset).

No cancellations for BA. And a quiet day with only 425 departures from LHR and 442 arrivals. The BA figures are just 160 and 173 respectively, so the fact it is a quiet day is largely down to BA running a near 50% service. There ere no services from LGW or LCY today. Quite a lot of the domestic network is running today, which hasn't happened in previous years.

Airspace: LQSB (Sarajevo) High top sector regulated due to ATC Staffing - Moderate to high delays.

Weather: A dry, mild and cloudy day. A chance of some brighter spells in the afternoon.
