There is no conversion. ECredit is simply a header. It covers unused tickets and DL issued vouchers (CS gestures).
You can use the unused ticket to pay for your ticket (meaning you must be the paid passenger). You will then need to pay additionally for the companion (free) passengers taxes/fees. (The eCredit can only be used to cover ticket for named passenger)
