The date you purchased may not trigger the PQPs. It depends on how / date the vendor finalized the purchase. The true transaction date can be the same day or days later, People have been burned by making purchases on 30 Jan, that did not finalize until 1 January.
Paying the balance has no impact on when the finalized transaction post.
With status, it can be risky waiting to the last minute.
Should be plenty fine, put the last necessary spend in by Dec 15. Though I dont want to have to get into a pissing match with Chase regarding this however, if something doesnt post right.
