I think that there are stories here on FT (and elsewhere) that thing are so much in variance with what you know or have experienced - one raises an eyebrow. I think also that bursting through the door with long and dramatic stories of one sort of another when the notice over the door implies the people who are within are sympathetic to that particular cause will not gain the most favourable response. This is exactly what has happened now and has happened in all the 24 years that I have been here. This will never change. Unfortunatgely in the soft warm womb of the internet, you can say what you like true or otheriwise. I take most of these with more than a grain of salt.

My threshold of borediom being quite low means that I may not have followed all the twists and turns of this tragedy. People come and repeat a litany of misery which occerred to them flying an airline which the swore never to fly six years (or whatever) ago. The reasons why are unclear. I have my own thoughts on the matter, but as it is Christmas and I have so much catching up to try and even be considered in the least bit nice, I shal keep my own council. When you go anwhere and things go wrong, why does one not take action at the time when something can and should be done about it? One then writes what could be a template to every single complaint that could have been an A level question - "BA is an appalling airlilne" - Discuss.

The two points that make me suspcicious that this is rather one sided are the interactions with the crew. We do not know what happened before not after. . Had I been doing Welcome Drinks and one of the glasses were cracked I would have been horrified and my apologies would have been abject. The lady could have hurt herself badly or even swallowed glass.

I have no doubt that there are far better airlines than BA - but then I orefer the devil I know. I have never had one such inceident let alone this quantity. Me? I had such good service yesterday that I am distributing Gold Tickets like confetti.

I am afaid that this has to be Goodbye Cruel Airline.- Adios Amor Je te laisse partir.
